Cicada Shawl
My grandmother always said that when the cicadas begin their droning, it’s time for school to begin…
The patterns in this dainty, late summer inspired shawl remind me of that beautiful insect. A perfect project for intermediate and advanced knitters, or very ambitious beginners! Half-circular, and knit mostly in stockinette stitch, with eyelet lace and garter stitch at the edges. This can be made with less than one skein of Malabrigo Sock, making it the perfect little indulgence.
