Ciclamino is an easy and colorful cowl worked using brioche knitting in the round, both in one color and in two colors. Changing the background and the foreground color a sort of “fading” effect is achieved

This is a beginner brioche project, it is actually a “didactic” pattern to learn how to work brioche in the round.



Finished size: 25 cm height and 56 cm circ. (10” height and 22.5” circ).

Yarn
C1: Rowan Alpaca soft DK (70% Virgin Wool, 30% Alpaca 125 m 137 yds/50 g), col. 00219 Candy; approx 50 m.
C2: Rowan Alpaca soft DK (70% Virgin Wool, 30% Alpaca 125 m 137 yds/50 g), col. 00207 Mulberry; approx 75 m.
C3: Rowan Alpaca soft DK (70% Virgin Wool, 30% Alpaca 125 m 137 yds/50 g), col. 00208 Autumn Purple; approx 50 m.
Needles
3.5 mm /US 4 * circular knitting needles with 60 cm/24” cable.

Notions
1 marker.
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.

14 stitches and 24 rows = 10x10 cm (4”) in brioche stitch in the round.
