Steam rising from your favorite cup of coffee or tea to greet the cool crispness of an Autumn morning. The heady aroma of sweet with just a hint of cinnamon spiciness wafting through an open window as a tray of apple cider donuts (a family recipe of course) that sends tingles of tradition tingling through your woolly-cardigan covered arms emerges fresh and oh-so-deliciously hot from the oven. A friendly “hello” called as your best friend arrives for a day filled with apple picking, hay rides, pumpkin patch rambles, and, as the sun goes down, a cozy campfire gathering. The golden days of autumn stretch before you.

The Cider Donuts Socks are designed to encapsulate all your favorite things about autumn: elegantly simple with their garter stitch body, thick and tough-wearing for any hike or adventure in their worsted weight yarn, and just a touch of whimsy with the mock cable detail (no cabling needles or skills required, so it won’t mess with that effortless flow of garter stitch we all love!) running up the back to coordinate with all your cutest fall boots.

They also knit up so quickly, you might find yourself knitting up a pair or two for a friend for your next campfire gathering!
