“Working for the movie The Cider House Rules was exciting to say the least. After completing a vest for Michael Caine and sweater for Charlize Theron, I was delighted when the costumers asked for a second sweater that Charlize Theron would wear. Charlize wears it under a jacket at the end of the movie as she meets Tobey Maguire to say goodbye. It has become popular with the new young knitters because of its slim fit and of course the ease of knitting. The ribbing in the yoke makes it a self finishing piece that translates into a very flattering neckline. Worked in a soft merino wool it is comfortable to wear even against the skin.”
