“Where cyclamen grows, evil has no power.” - Balkan folk legend

Inspired by the rich, vibrant color of cyclamen flowers, Ciklama is a shawlette designed to bring a little touch of color and lace into your everyday wardrobe.

This shawlette is worked from the top down towards the wide edge, with increases worked on every row and decreases every other row. This construction creates a slightly beveled, asymmetrical triangular shape that is a little different from a traditional triangle shawl.
The main feature of the design is the lace pattern worked in vertical lines across the entire shawlette. Even though the lace lines are interrupted by the shaping of the piece, the knitting itself remains fairly simple and relaxing.

This pattern is perfect for advanced beginners who are comfortable with lace knitting, and includes written and charted instructions.
