This beautiful beaded crescent shawl is worked from the bottom up beginning with a beaded picot cast on. The long colorways of the yarn leads to its dramatic appearance. You will use 1202 6/0 glass beads, Miyuki #4513, placed using a 11/12 or 13/14 steel crochet hook. Adding beads is optional. Lace work is charted. Short rows creates the slight crescent shape of the shawl, which measures 71” along top edge, “86” along bottom edge, 19” deep at center, and 16” deep at outer edges. It takes most of the two skeins, approximately 850 yds. Would be lovely using two different colors. I am a tight knitter, so please do gauge if you don’t want to exceed the above measurements of the shawl or run out of yarn.
