A cabled hat inspired by cinnamon candy hearts in two styles and two sizes -- beanie and slouchy, S/M and L/XL. If you look closely, you’ll notice that the cables are heart-shaped! It’s just subtle enough that you don’t need to worry about people staring at you because you’ve got hearts on your head… unless you like that sort of thing ;) ❤

Finished measurements: Ribbing and cables relaxed
S/M: Beanie: 14” brim, 14.5” body; Slouchy: 14” brim, 17” body
L/XL: Beanie: 17” brim, 17” body; Slouchy: 17” brim, 20” body
All sizes are 12” deep with the brim unfolded

Yarns used: 170-200 yards worsted weight yarn
Shown in Lion Brand Wool-ease in Cranberry and Plymouth Encore in Cranberry Mix (0560)

Gauge: 22 sts & 28 rows in k1, p1 rib on smaller needles

Notes:

Since all the sizes are taken with the ribbing and cables completely condensed, they may seem small even though they are very accommodating. Both the beanie and slouchy versions in the L/XL size fit my 22” head comfortably.
