Circe Cardigan
ABOUT
From Homer’s Odyssey to Madeline Miller’s bestselling novel Circe, the Circe Cardigan knitting pattern brings to life a heroine of epic proportions. The design is filled with subtle literary references to the enchantress Circe—leafing lace, bell sleeves and sleek lines—which are enticing to knit and simple to style.
CONSTRUCTION
The Circe Cardigan is knit top-down, beginning with the back piece. Two front pieces are picked up and knit flat, one at a time. Once both front pieces have reached the underarm level, all three pieces are joined and knit flat. A lace hem detail is worked beginning at the lower waist. Set-in sleeves are added, then shaped into bell sleeves with a matching lace detail. Finish it off with i-cord lace ties, and voila, your Circe Cardigan will be ready to wear.
