This is my Circle-square motif used to make a cushion however the motif can be used to make any number of things, bags, blankets, throws etc.

Using DK yarn and a 4mm hook my motifs measure 4 and a half inches square but any yarn and appropriate hook size could be used and the size of the finished square will therefore vary.

the gauge is not important as long as it is consistent if making more than one square.
