This pattern is for a quick, simple Circle Time rug. I made mine toddler-sized (24” across), but you can easily increase the size to make a larger version. I’ve also included helpful tips for making a flat circle in any size and with any basic crochet stitch.

For this rug, I used worsted weight yarn held double (meaning working with two strands at the same time) and a size N/P 10.0mm crochet hook. I would recommend using a stitch marker to keep your place, since the pattern is worked in a continuous spiral to avoid seams.
