Update: I have made a correction to the original download as it would appear that I cannot count and made a huge error at the start of the pattern, it should read as follows;
Rnd 1 12 tr(dc) into magic loop/adjustable ring, join with slip stitch - 6sts
Rnd 2 Ch3 and 1tr(dc) into 1st tr(dc), 2tr(dc) into each tr(dc) around, join with slip stitch - 24sts
