Stranded mittens with gusseted thumb and optional duplicate stitch embroidery.
Similar in design to Horses mittens, but a tad narrower, with 68 sts around palm.

Materials:
40 g of fingering yarn in each MC and CC.
Circular needles size US 0-2, depending on your gauge / size needed.
Some scrap yarn or stitch holders for the thumb stitches.
2 stitch markers.
Tapestry needle and yarn for optional embroidery.

Gauge and size:
36 sts x 40 rows = 4” (10 cm);
With this gauge, mitten measures 23 cm tall, 9-9.5 cm across.
