This sock evokes memories of a particular breed of circus where fantastical creatures, obnoxious clowns and acrobatic performers unite to entrance the mind and enthrall the spirit. Here, rivulets of cables flow from the top of the leg, gently curving themselves around the heel and toe. The channels of smaller cables are actually twisted stitches; these simple embellishments make a stunning detail when carried down the edges of the foot and around the toe. A clever twist on the three-needle bindoff finishes these socks in style, and is flatter and more comfortable than might first appear.
