Ciseán tuige is the Irish for wicker basket and the stitch pattern in this blanket looks just like the intertwined strands of wicker.
The stitches are much easier than the result looks, perfect for beginners, improvers, or those who are looking for a meditative knit.

Sizes
This blanket comes in 6 sizes, ranging from 24x24 cm (9.5x9.5”) to 122x119 cm (49x48”) but can easily be modified by working more or less repeats, or modifying the amount of stitches cast on.
