This shawlette is for spring, fall and cool summer days when a t-shirt isn’t enough, but a jacket is just a bit too much! Soft and airy, this vibrant shawl can be worn for almost any occasion! The simple but elegant chevron eyelet pattern makes this shawl a great introduction to lace knitting! The repeating pattern also makes for a quick project as well as some good TV knitting!

This is my first pattern on Ravelry, so I hope nothing goes horribly wrong! Also, please take the gauge, needle and yarn requirements with a grain of salt - this shawlette can really be any size, just continue the pattern for a full-sized shawl. Larger or smaller yarn and needles can create an equally beautiful shawl, so please feel free to modify the pattern! :)

I made this shawl with a ball of old yarn that mysteriously appeared in my closet, so I really have no idea about anything other than the weight. It took one decently sized ball (which I’m guessing is approximately 300-400 yards), but again, take these recommendations with a grain of salt (maybe more than one)!

So, hope you guys enjoy this shawl! :D
