This pattern is written in US terms. It assumes a basic understanding of crochet stitches and techniques. Rows are worked in the round. Check out my YouTube channel @Cleopatra’s Crochet for a video tutorial of the Citrus Coaster version of this pattern bundle.

Finished dimensions may vary depending on stitch tightness. Following these instructions, my finished hot pad is ~8.5 inches in diameter (the pattern tester’s was ~8 inches) & my coaster is ~4.5 inches in diameter.

WARNING: ONLY use natural fibers to make a hot pad because of their ability to absorb water and heat. Do NOT use unnatural fibers (i.e. plastic) as it can melt when exposed to extreme heat. These hot pads & coasters are double thick to protect from heat.
