City Break is a simple and easy to crochet beanie. Worked in fingering-weight yarn in a post-stitch rib pattern, it is stretchy and comfortable, while being warm and stylish. A narrow basket-weave insert near the brim breaks up the vertical rib pattern and will provide some entertainment to those who tend to get tired of simple repetitive stitch patterns. The slightly slouchy shape gives a modern touch to this otherwise classical rib hat.

The pattern uses American crochet terms, is fully written out and contains charts for a more visual crocheter.
