Following my passion for up-cycling I decided to make a lovely City Tote with a leather a handle made out of an old leather coat. This lovely tote is fully lined, the pattern have plenty of pictures showing the process. If you prefer you can make the handle out of any medium weight fabric, denim or vegan leather.

Size:
Approx. 36 inches (94 cm) in circumference (on wildest point), 15 inches (38 cm) tall and 5 inches (13 cm) deep.

Materials and Notions:
Any worsted weight yarn will do, John Lewis Aran Yarn was used for this project.
250 g (500 m) in grey and 300g (600 m) in brown
Hook: J (6 mm)
Yarn needle
Cotton fabric for the lining, you will need a piece of fabric that is 19.5 inches (50 cm) wild by 39.3 inches (100 cm) long.
Optional: Sewing machine, there is not a lot of sewing, you could sew the lining of the bag by hand no problems. You will need a sewing needle and thread to attach the lining to the crochet bag.
Sew on snap, I used a larger one 0.7 inches (2cm)
