If you are an Outlander fan, you are going to love this super quick replica pattern of Claire’s Rent Shawl.

Due to the stitch pattern used, the top edge of the scarf is not straight and curves down. However, it does still wear and drape the same.

SKILL LEVEL:
o Basic/Beginner
o Easy – You will need to know how to HDC, work in chain spaces and front/back loops.
o Intermediate
o Complex/Advanced

MATERIALS NEEDED:
o Ideally, any sock, sport, DK, or worsted weight (#1-4) yarn should work for this project. I used Lion Brand Heartland yarn in Mammoth Cave (2 skeins), Black Canyon (1 skein), and Glacier Bay (1 skein), approximately 545 yards.
o US size H-8 (5 mm) hook, or recommended hook for yarn used.
o Tapestry needle

One size but can be altered
Width: 28 inches
Length: spans 55 inches

All patterns are in English, using US standard crochet terms. I have added a lot of working pictures to help show how I completed a stitch.
