This striped pullover is the perfect summer top to throw on over your swimsuit when the sun starts going down and the sea breeze picks up, and everyone’s gathering on the beach for the clam bake. Made with a cotton/nylon blend, it is soft, comfortable, and breathable—not to mention machine-washable! The pattern is a simple, top-down raglan with optional stripes and easily adjustable length. With 6-8” of ease, it’s the perfect comfy layer to throw on during chilly spring and summer evenings!

Yarn
Loops and Threads Crème Cotton (87% cotton, 13% nylon; 432 yards / 200 grams). 2 (2, 2, 3, 3), (3, 3, 3, 4) skeins, or 760 (840, 920, 1000, 1080), (1160, 1240, 1320, 1400) yards total. For even stripes as in the photo, you will need more skeins as you will need approximately half of the total yardage of each color. Colors shown are Dusty Mint and Cream.

Pattern Notes
This is a top-down, seamless, raglan pullover. It uses a provisional cast on and the collar is picked up and knit last. The neck is wide and can be worn as off-the-shoulder if desired. The length of the body and sleeves are easily adjustable. The stripes are optional and easily customizable—this would be a great project for stash-busting with lots of stripes!

SIZE NOTE
This pattern has been tested, but the last three sizes (7, 8, 9) have not. If you are interested in testing one of these sizes, please send me a message and we can work something out!
