Exploring yarns with different color effects is a blast. I’ve always been fascinated with self-striping yarns in particular. This capelet allows stripes to stack in different widths. A gently scalloped border adds visual interest while the ribbed neckline gives flexibility to fit. The capelet would look terrific in a semi-solid handpaint or a speckled yarn--or put your own stamp on it with your own yarn choice.

FInished circumference, lower edge: 24 (26, 28)“
