I was given a couple of skeins of hand-dyed silk yarn, DK weight, and made a Clapotis scarf. I found I wasn’t wearing the scarf much, so I turned it into a vest … and now I wear it much more often.

I wore the vest to Stitches West this year and got a number of compliments, so decided to publish the pattern, such as it is.

The dimensions of the original scarf were 23 in. by 101 in., before I added the I-cord.
