Clara is a lovely little fawn toy perfect for gifting during the holiday season, or for keeping all to yourself. Her body is knitted with a sweet little cable pattern down the front, and a faux-layering technique makes it look as though she’s actually wearing a sweater, when it’s really all knitted in one piece. Her long, skinny arms and legs are inspired by the trendy stuffed animals that seem to be in all the boutiques this season. If you aren’t up for the challenge of cables, you can just leave them off and knit that entire section in reverse stockinette.

You will need to be able to knit in the round to make Clara, as well as do basic increases and decreases. It has been brought to my attention that the Pumice Heather has been discontinued by Knit Picks. This is just the color for Clara’s hooves. Any dark brown or gray will work just fine.
