This design is intended for you to make your mark on it. I have provided the basic road map, but you can take your own journey. Make it wider by casting on more stitches (an odd number), or make it longer to drape around your neck twice. Knit it with similar colors or pick two with high contrast. Or stick with one shade. Or three. Make it longer and add a twist when you graft the ends for an infinity-type scarf. You get the picture. Instructions are written for two colors, with an ombre effect throughout and a collision of color at the graft, so you can have two different looks just by turning it around. The pattern as written uses approx. 68 grams of yarn (34 grams of each color in a two color version), so you can get three cowls from just two skeins. This is fast lane gift knitting!
