Classic Cabled Scarf
This scarf is perfect for both men and women, with a classic cabled design. Make it as a gift, make one for yourself, or do both!
This pattern provides a photo tutorial for the technique of cabling, so you do not need to know this skill initially. However, I recommend that you have knowledge of basic single crochet and double crochet stitches, as well as front post and back post crochet stitches.
The pattern makes a scarf of width 15cm/6’’ and length
175cm/69’’ but also offers suggestions for how to adjust so it can be longer, shorter and/or wider.
The yarn I used was James C. Brett DK in colourway 8425, but feel free to use any yarn that matches the gauge. Approximately 160-180g of yarn is needed to make this pattern. Other materials needed are a 5mm hook and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
