The Classic Cables socks are knit in the round from the cuff down. They feature a cable stitch pattern along the front of the leg and foot, plain stockinette stitch on the back of the leg, and an optional contrast colour for the toes. The heel is constructed using the traditional heel flap with gusset, and the toes are finished using gradual decreases.

Fingering weight yarn (50 g / 1.8 oz = 170 m / 186 yds), 45% Alpaca, 30% Polyamide, 25% Wool

Sample uses Drops Nord in colours Marzipan (uni color 29) and Light Beige (mix 07)

Gauge
32 sts x 48 rounds = 10 x 10cm / 4 x 4” worked in pattern in the round, after blocking.

Needles
Size 2.5mm / US 1.5 circular needles, cable length 80cm / 32” for magic loop method, or DPNs depending on your preference.
