Yarn: Filatura Di Crosa Millefili Fine (1¾oz/50g; 136yds/125m; cotton) 4 (5, 7) balls, plus an extra ball for swatching, White #69

Needles:

  • Size 6 (4mm) needle(s), or size to obtain gauge
  • Size 4 (2mm) needle

Extras:

  • Six snaps
  • Rust-proof T-pins; string to hold sts
  • Optional: 28 (45, 66) pink (P) beads, 24 (35, 48) blue (B) beads, 20 (30, 42) green (G) beads

Notes:

  1. The child and doll sizes use different yarn and needles, but are made in exactly the same way.
  2. Beads, shown here on doll’s pinafore, are optional; make sure the hole is the right size for the yarn.
  3. Yoke and straps are worked by double-knitting: working both sides of the fabric at the same time.
