Classic Ribbed Tee is a timeless scoop neck pullover with a modern twist. This ribbed tee is sure to become a wardrobe staple. Choose a sleeve length and a hemline (straight, shirt-tail, or angled for a bit longer back) to make it your very own design. You can even add a pocket to style it as an athletic tee.
The neckline and pocket are finished in an easy “faux I-Cord” that adds a sophisticated touch to a super-comfortable top. You can finish the hemline and sleeves in the same finish or simply bind off knitwise. You could even make a short sleeve one for warm weather and a long sleeve one for winter!
Construction is top-down, totally seamless, and with raglan sleeves that show off the ribbing detail. With so many choices for length, sleeves, and hemline, this is sure to be a flattering fit for everyone.
The pattern is written for sport yarn but can be made in any yarn that meets gauge. Size and yarn usage will vary with differences in gauge and yarn choices.
This pattern has been professionally tech-edited and tested.
