Claudette Hat
C l a u d e t t e
The Claudette Hat is crocheted in the style of a bucket hat and is characterized by its downward-sloping brim. Crocheted from a blend of Merino and Alpaca wool, the Claudette Hat is extremely cozy and the perfect companion for cold days. The addition of nylon ensures necessary dimensional stability. With its timeless design, this hat complements any outfit and adds a cozy touch to your look. Whether you pair it with a casual winter coat or use it as an accessory for your favorite sweater, this bucket hat will catch everyone’s eye while keeping you warm.
The Claudette Hat is crocheted from top to bottom in spiral rounds, creating a seamless finish. After completion, the hat is turned inside out so please make sure that any knots or yarn connections are not visible on the new outside. To maintain its shape, the Claudette Hat should be hand-washed, stuffed with towels, and stretched into the correct form.

Size guide
The Claudette Hat has little to no room for movement (positive ease) in relation to the circumference of your head.
Before you actually start crocheting, take measurements of your head to determine the size that fits you best.
Before you start
Crochet single crochet (sc) in spiral rounds, meaning you continue crocheting at the end of each round. The first single crochet (sc) of each round is always crocheted into the first sc of the previous round. To mark the beginning of each round, place a stitch marker on the last sc of the previous round. The instruction is divided into three sections:
- Hat crown - the base
- Hat crown - the body, and
- Hat brim. Each section is further divided into sizes XS-XL. Please make sure to follow the information provided under “ALL SIZES” for each section.
