Claudias Socken are the result of a combination of various sock construction techniques found on the internet and elsewhere. They are straightforward and fit well on the foot - and they are quick to knit.

This is my perfect “recipe” for knitting socks, and I am happy to share it with you.

Length and width of the socks can easily be adjusted without a lot of maths. For more width, increase the number of stitches by a multiple of 4. For every 4 additional stitches, add one more repeat of a respective step for heel, gusset and toe.

The instructions can be varied to your taste – change the ribbing pattern, work in various colours, whatever you fancy!
