This hat is simple yet stylish with a slipped-stitch texture as well as a textured flower shape on one side of the hat. Most of the hat is worked in knit rounds and narrow purl rounds, with slipped stitches added on some knit rounds to create seven rounded blocks shaped like petals. The gauge for this project is deliberately worked slightly looser than normal for sportweight yarn to create softly draping fabric and a slouchy-looking hat.
