My family loves going to the farmer’s market on the weekend. My kids always want to carry things that they pick out. The problem is that we normally buy quite a bit of produce that ends up weighing more than they do.



I thought I would make my kids a bag that they could easily carry however they want to (one kid wanted short handles, one kid wanted a long handle).

This is a PDF pattern for the Clever Market Bag. The strap is adjustable and can be worn over the shoulder, or across the body. There are 4 sizes written in the pattern.

Mini size measures 6.5” x 10”
Small size measures 10” x 13”
Medium size measures 13.5” x 16”
Large size measures 17” x 19”

Straps may be made as long or short as you prefer. There is some guidance in the pattern.
