The second pattern in a collection of designs inspired by my favorite book and its film adaptation The Secret of Roan Inish.

The Cliabh Socks are named after a traditional Irish fishing creel or basket.
Textures, cables, and braids all hint of woven strands of wickerwork and techniques passed down for hundreds of years.
Pronunciation samples can be found here.

The design is worked top-down, and features a lateral braid, simple cables, slips, and texture, and a gusset style heel.

Sized for the whole family in unisex sizes:
Toddler, Kids Small, Kids Medium, Kids Large, Teen, Adult Small/Med, & Adult Med/Large

The first design in the series is the Tadhg Socks which can be found here.
