The pattern calls for “70 yards of crimp set nylon”
Either size 1 or size 0 needles are suggested, whichever will produce gauge. The needles are double-points.
Additional materials: one small button, embellishments as desired
The body of the coat is knit in one piece. The sleeves are knit separately and sewn in. The pattern includes instructions for working the sleeves in the round or flat, as you choose.
The booklet shows the lapels decorated with sequins. The pattern reads: “Use your imagination with sequins, beads or embroidery to create an attractive and fancy coat.”
Sized for a Ken-type doll with the 1960s figure: 6.25”-4.5”-5.125”. Fit may vary on modern dolls.
