Pattern includes instructions for 3 different shapes: Rectangle, Bias Rectangle and Elongated Triangle. Size can be adjusted easily to suit your preferences and the amount of yarn you have to work with. A minimum of 650 yards is recommended (Minimum 1000 yards for the bias rectangle)

This pattern is designed to take full advantage of the qualities of a laceweight yarn combined with silk stainless steel. Substituting yarn will change these qualities, so swatching is highly recommended.

Designer’s Note:
When musicians improvise, they use set rules to give structure to the song. This scarf uses the same form of guided improvisation.
