Introducing the Climbing Braids Beanie, a crochet pattern, which offers lots of great texture, interest and a braided design. I designed this hat to keep you warm and cozy while looking fashionable this Fall and Winter season. Braids are very popular and have always been a favorite of mine. I hope you like them too.

This hat is worked from the brim to the crown and has been rated as beginner to intermediate level. Stitches used consist of chains, half double crochet, double crochet, and slip stitches. Surface crochet is optional around the brim. Some feedback I received from my testers was that the pattern was easy to follow, it’s pleasing to make, it’s a great pattern, it’s a great hat!

I used two colors for this hat, but it would also look great in a solid color or in lots of colors too. Even a variegated yarn would be nice, the possibilities are endless. I hope you enjoy this pattern.
