CLIMBING ROWS - MODULAR SHADOW KNITTING PATTERN

WHAT CAN I MAKE USING THE MODULAR SHADOW TILES ?

This pattern is a modular knitting pattern and therefore can be used in a variety of different size/shaped projects. The pattern includes instructions for ( a wash-cloth, scarf, wrap, baby-blanket and beach towel ).

WHAT IS SHADOW KNITTING ?

Shadow/Illusion knitting is a knitting technique which allows you to create a disappearing/reappearing illusion within the knitted fabric. An image within the knit design that is not clearly visible when viewed front-on, will become visible when viewed from a side-angle.

WHAT YARN DO I NEED ?

The digital download that will be sent to you immediately after you purchase the MKAL contains the full information required to assist you in choosing your yarn and includes meterage information for each project. ( This pattern is a 2-Colour pattern, you will need equal amounts of each colour to complete the project ).

You can knit any project contained in the pattern in either 4PLY or 8PLY yarn, we provide meterage information for reach product type which is the same regardless of which ply you select.

CAN ANYONE DO IT ?

Yes, if you have mastered the knit/purl stitches and have a reasonable-tension you will be able to successfully complete a shadow knit without too much trouble at all. The only other stitches included int he pattern are ( cast-on, bind-off, knit 2 together and yarn-over ).
