The Cloud Bloomers are a pair of semi-transparent, shirred low-rise microshorts and can be worn layered or on its own as lingerie.

The shorts do not use any increases or decreases, so these are perfect for beginners to create.

These are designed to have 6 inches of positive ease, and the shirring elastic cinches at several places on the shorts creating a bubble effect along the length.

These have a 3.5” inseam and come in an option of petite low rise, petite medium rise, regular low rise, and regular medium rise. Knit extra sections to make the rise and inseam longer according to your preferences.

Take your hips measurement and choose the size to follow in the list below. For example, if your hips measurement is 35 inches, choose a size S to follow in the pattern. If you are in between sizes, size up.

Suggested Yarn: Fingering weight mohair blend yarn like Superkid Silk by Mayflower (76% mohair 24% silk)
This yarn is discontinued but a similar lace weight mohair/mohair blend yarn can work.

Gauge: 17sts x 25 rows in stockinette using 5.5mm needles for 4”x4”/10cmx10cm blocked.
