Cloud Layer
The Cloud Layer is a fluffy, lightweight jumper that provides effortless style. Knitted with two yarns held together, a 4ply and two strands of kidsilk to give the cloud-like-look. An easy knit on 12mm needles knitted bottom up, in the round. The sleeves are knitted in the round, cuff up to the armhole and then joined with the body, working in the round for the yoke.
Yarn:
2 Yarns held together:
Drops Flora (1 strand) - 210m / 50g (or another 4ply)
Drops Kidsilk (2 strands) - 210m / 25g (or another lace weight)
Alternatively:
Drops Flora (2 strands) - 210m / 50g (or another 4ply/DK one strand)
Needles:
12mm 80cm circular
12mm DPNs (optional for sleeves, alternatively use the magic loop method)
12mm 40cm circular (optional for neck, alternatively use magic loop method)
Sizing:
Bust - 30-34” / 36-40” / 42-46” / 48-52”
Actual - 39” / 45” / 51” / 57” (between 9 and 5” of positive ease)
Yarn Quantities:
Flora - 2 / 2 / 3 / 3
Kidsilk - 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 (held double)
Flora (held single) - 3 / 4 / 5 / 6
Equipment:
