The Cloudsong Socks are a sock knitter’s dream, featuring a mohair flair and squishy texture pattern to make your yarny heart swoon. They are the ultimate pair of cosy socks you’ll grab to wear again and again!

Yarn:
The pattern uses approximately 350yds/320m of fingering weight yarn in a main colour AND (219yds/200m) of a fluffy lace weight yarn in a contrast colour.

The sample shown uses a 100g skein of fingering weight yarn from Bona Yarns in the undyed colourway Starkers (100% Superwash Merino) (437yds/400m per 100g) AND 50g of laceweight mohair silk from Bona Yarns in the colourway You Shall Go To The Ball (72% kid mohair, 28% silk) (459yds/420m per 50g).

Sizes:
The pattern instructions are written for one size, however the size can be adjusted by going up or down a needle size to change your gauge as below. The most important thing is to get the right row gauge for your size, so it may not be the suggested needle which works best for you!
If in doubt between two needle sizes, for this pattern I would pick a larger needle as the slip stitches and extra bulk of fabric create a slightly tighter sock. The sock length is completely customisable.
