Cloudy Busan is the baby sister of Busan Sweater and Busan tee in the same collection. One of the signature characteristics is the wide central cable that begins at the top of the neckline and continues down the front.
The idea for Busan came after a visit to the Korean city of the same name, where the organic, rhythmic sea met the sleek and angular cityscape and made for a constant, interesting blend. I wished to capture that with the fluid, wavelike cable that is surrounded by the structural simplicity of the stockinette stitch.
Cloudy Busan is worked in a yarn combination of linen, silk and cashmere, which makes it cool and soft as a cloud. Knit it as a summer top or wear it over a shirt.

CONSTRUCTION
Cloudy Busan is worked top-down. Begin by working the collar in the round while simultaneously creating the cable. This is followed by increases for the shoulders until front and back and separated and worked flat until the armholes have been shaped. The work is joined again and continued in the round. An i-cord is worked around the armholes and at the hem.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
Intermediate.
