This simple garter stitch shawl is super fun to make and has a wonderful and fun crocheted border.

Version 1 Materials needed:

-2 cones of Ito So Kosho (shown in color Top Angora) Or approximately 300 yards sport weight yarn for the main color.
-75 yards of Ito Kosho (shown in color Charcoal) or Ito Sensai. Or approximately 75 yards of lace weight yarn for the border.
-size 6 knitting needles
-2mm crochet hook.
Finished measurements: Approximately 50 inches tip to tip.

Version 2 Materials needed:

-1 cone of Ito So Asa (shown in color Iron Blue). Or approximately 200 yards fingering weight yarn for the main color.
-75 yards of Ito Sensai (shown in color Red). Or approximately 75 yards of lace weight yarn for the border.
-size 2 knitting needles
-2mm crochet hook.
Finished measurements: Approximately 30 inches tip to tip.

Version 3 Materials needed:

-1 skein of Ito Sensai (shown in color Glacier) or approximately 265 yards lace weight yarn held double for the main color. or approx 120 yards of DK weight yarn like Cardiff Cashmere.
-75 yards of Ito Sensai (shown in color Red and Lemon). Or approximately 75 yards of lace weight yarn for the border.
-size 6 knitting needles
-2mm crochet hook.
Finished measurements: Approximately 38 inches tip to tip.
