Unlike an adult sleeping bag, this garment usually had sleeves and fastened at the bottom or front so that the baby could easily have its nappy changed. Sometimes the sleeping bag had a hood for extra warmth.

This one doesn't, but is still perfect for cold nights, and is nice and roomy so that baby can still do some kicking without getting tangled up in bedcovers.

Materials:

  • 896 m (984 yds) / 400g DK weight yarn (shown in Aran 46 colorway)
  • seven 1.5cm (5/8”) diam. buttons
  • embroidery floss, for decoration

Tension/Gauge swatched in stockinette on 4mm needles (US 6)
