Clover Sweater
The Clover Sweater is knitted in stocking stitch with all-over clover embroidery knitted into the fabric. Designed for effortless, everyday wear, it has an oversized, relaxed fit with drop shoulder sleeves, a low crossover V-neckline and wide 2x2 rib trims.
The Clover Sweater is knitted in the round from the top down. The pattern starts at the back neck, knitting the back yoke first. The left and right fronts are picked up and knitted from the shoulders, then stitches are cast on to join the fronts and the front yoke is knitted. The front and back are joined and knitted in the round until the hem is cast off. Stitches are picked up around the armholes and knitted to form the sleeves. To finish, stitches are picked up and knitted around the neck to form the neck rib.
This pattern provides easy-to-follow detailed instructions using the following techniques:
Long tail cast on, knitting flat, knitting in the round, knit, purl, increasing, decreasing, picking up stitches, reading charts, cable cast on, tubular cast off.
