Tunisian crochet is faster, easier and more fun than regular crochet! It’s easy to learn even if you have never crocheted before.

This side-to-side shawl combines the Tunisian simple stitch (TSS) with the Tunisian drop stitch (TDS) in alternating pairs of rows - remember that each row of Tunisian crochet consists of a forward pass (FP) and a reverse pass (RP.) All the increases and decreases occur along the right edge only, while the left edge remains straight. This shaping creates a triangle with the center point rounded. There are two finishing variations – a regular crocheted edge or tassels on the points.
