This pattern is for a top down knitted chicken. It is knitted in the round on double pointed needles, Wings and cocks comb are added separately, and eyes and beak are sewn on.

Materials:
5.5mm double pointed needles (3)
1 Skein paint box yarn in simply chunky MC for chicken body
1 Skein paintbox yarn simply chunky in wine red for comb or scrap red yarn
1 Skein paintbox yarn simply chunky in mustard for beak or scrap yellow yarn
1 Skein paintbox yarn simply chunky in granite grey for eyes or scrap dark grey/black yarn
Or use yarn to meet approx gauge 14x20
