The yarn used for this was Debbie Bliss Blue Faced Leicester Aran, but any aran weight yarn should be fine.

The neck warmer is designed to hang loosely around the neck. If you want something tighter, I suggest either use a dk yarn, which will give you a smaller gauge or reduce the length of the rows by two repeats to give a closer fit. Alternatively gain a larger fit that can be doubled add in a further 3 repeats, which will require extra balls of yarn
