Coast is a light weight, loose-fitting pullover, perfect for spring and summer. It is worked seamlessly from the top down with a simple drop shoulder construction

Finished Bust Measurements:
36(40, 44, 48, 52) inches / 91(100, 111, 120, 131) cm

It is intended to be worn with approx. 6-8 inches / 15-20 cm positive ease. Choose a size that is 6-8 inches / 15-20 cm larger than your actual bust measurement.

Holst Garn Coast (55% Merino Lambswool, 45% Cotton – 50g/383 yd skein):
(MC) Lead x 2(2, 3, 3, 3) skeins

(CC2) Kingfisher x 1(1, 1, 1, 2) skeins

Or approx. 670(740, 830, 920, 1020) yds / 610(680, 760, 840, 935) m of MC, 280(310, 350, 390, 430) yds / 255(285, 320, 355, 395) m of CC1 and 260(280, 310, 350, 390) yds / 240(255, 285, 320, 355) m of CC2 in a light fingering weight yarn.

Construction:
Stitches are cast on for the back using a provisional cast on method, the shoulders are shaped using short rows and the piece is worked down to the underarm. Stitches are picked up for the front pieces, the shoulders and neckline are shaped and then the front pieces are joined and worked down to the underarm. The front and back pieces are joined and the body is worked down in the round. Stitches are picked up from around the armholes and the sleeves are worked down in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up to work the neck band.
