Worked top-down in the round, seamlessly, from the neckline to bottom split-hem, Coast Away is a raglan construction sweater designed with a high-hip finished body & bracelet-length sleeves.

This design features a square neckline and is detailed with a mosaic (slip-stitch) colorwork pattern within the yoke which is then repeated before the hem and sleeve cuffs. A Twisted Stockinette detail-panel runs down each sleeve from the shoulder to the start of the Corrugated Rib before the cuff.

Coast Away is knit primarily in the round, with the exception for German short rows incorporated below the collar, to shape the neck slightly. There are two options included in this pattern for working the Twisted Rib Collar (beginning or end).

Coast Away is an Advanced-Beginner or Intermediate level pattern.
