I have to say, I love the fit of this coat so much, I want to wear it everyday. With Noro yarns, It goes with so much! Taiyo Aran is 40% Cotton, 30% Silk and 15% wool/ 15% Poly. The Tokanatsu is knit on a #8 48 - 60” needle in one long garter strip. if you make a vest, you will need a 16” long US8 also.

Entrelac is an intermediate endeavor, however, I have supplied graphic schematics and clear instructions to ease the task. I knit it in 10 days, It really knits up faster than you would think. Blocking for perfect fit encouraged.
NOTE:
I have written 2 Primers on the entrelac stitch for a scarf in Sport weight. ABC Entrelac Primer 1 and 2. The first is a scarf without edge triangles and the second is with all the triangle shapes to create a straight edged fabric. You may want to tackle a smaller project first or just make a matching scarf!

The coat is knit in one piece, then the shoulders are seamed. The sleeves may be left out to make a long vest. (each sleeve takes a ball) and then edge the arms with the contrasting yarn used to finish the front.
The first coat was knit in Noro Taiyo 9 balls @ 200m, CYC #4 with a Noro Tokanatsu 1 ball @ 125m, CYC #4 front and neckline.
You can use any long color changing yarn to achieve this effect.
